Passion Sunday - The Fifth Sunday in Lent

Mar 22, 2026

As we enter Passion Sunday, the Church invites us to reflect on the Gospel of John 11:1 to 45, the raising of Lazarus.

In this powerful passage, we see both the humanity and divinity of Christ. Jesus weeps with those who mourn, yet He also declares, "I am the resurrection and the life." What seems like an ending becomes a moment of hope and renewal.

Passion Sunday marks the beginning of a more solemn journey as we move closer to Holy Week. It is a time to pause, reflect, and prepare our hearts for the suffering, sacrifice, and victory of Christ.

As Lazarus is called from the tomb, we are reminded that Christ calls each of us to new life. He invites us to step out of darkness and walk in faith.

Join us as we continue this sacred journey together and encounter the depth of Christ’s love and the promise of new life.
