Sexagesima Sunday

In today’s Gospel, Jesus calls His disciples to a radical way of living and loving. He challenges the familiar logic of retaliation and replaces it with mercy, generosity, and forgiveness. “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” He says, inviting us to reflect the boundless love of our heavenly Father.

This Gospel asks us to look beyond what feels fair or comfortable and to live as true children of God. As we gather for worship, may we open our hearts to Christ’s call to love without limits and to seek holiness in our thoughts, words, and actions.
