Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

In today’s Gospel, Jesus begins His public ministry, calling His first disciples with simple yet life-changing words: “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Leaving behind their nets and their old way of life, they follow Him without hesitation.

This Gospel reminds us that Christ continues to call each of us, right where we are. He invites us to turn toward the light, to trust His voice, and to follow Him more closely in our daily lives. As we gather for Mass, may we open our hearts to His call and respond with faith, courage, and generosity.
