Solemnity of the Epiphany of Our Lord
The Feast of the Epiphany celebrates a holy moment of revelation: Christ made known to the world. Guided by a star, the Magi journey from the East in search of truth, light, and a newborn King. Their path leads them not to power or privilege, but to a humble child in Bethlehem.
In their homage, the Magi remind us that faith is a journey, one that requires attentiveness, courage, and openness to being changed. They offer gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, recognizing Jesus as King, God, and Savior. And after encountering Christ, they return home by another way, transformed by what they have seen.
Epiphany invites us to reflect on how Christ is revealed in our own lives and how we, too, are called to follow His light into the world, carrying hope, generosity, and faith wherever we go.
