Twenty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time

In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus speaks to the crowds about the true cost of discipleship. He challenges His followers to place Him above every earthly tie and to carry their cross daily.

Using the examples of building a tower and preparing for battle, He reminds us that following Him requires thought, commitment, and sacrifice. Christ calls us not to half-hearted discipleship, but to a wholehearted surrender that leads to life in Him.
