Twenty-ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time

In today’s Gospel, Jesus shares the parable of the persistent widow who refuses to give up until she receives justice. Through her example, He teaches the importance of perseverance in prayer and unwavering trust in God’s faithfulness.

If even an unjust judge can respond to persistence, how much more will our loving Father hear the cries of His children? Jesus reminds us that prayer is not about weary repetition, but about steadfast faith.

As we wait for the Lord’s return, may we continue to pray with hope and confidence so that when the Son of Man comes, He will find faith alive in our hearts.
